Resident Governor of the Tower of London and Keeper of the Jewel House, is responsible for the day-to-day running of Her Majesty’s Palace and Fortress, the Tower of London. The Constable of the Tower is the most senior appointment at the Tower of London. Under the Queen's Regulations for the Army, the office of constable is conferred on a field marshal or retired general officer for a five-year term. At the conclusion of the Constable's Installation ceremony, the Lord Chamberlain symbolically hands over the Queen’s House to the Constable. He in turn entrusts it to the Resident Governor. The offices of ''Resident Governor of the Tower of London'' and ''Keeper of the Jewel House'' were amalgamated in 1967. A former governor and keeper of the Jewel House is Major-General Keith Cima, who described the role as that of custodian of a Royal Palace and the head of a €50 million tourist business.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title= Tower of London - press release archive: Drawing the next chapter in the White Tower’s story )〕 ==List of combined office holders== List of combined office holders:〔 〕 *1968-1971: Colonel Sir Thomas Pierce Butler, 12th Baronet, CVO DSO OBE JP. *1971-1979: Major-General Sir Digby Raeburn, KCVO *1979-1984: Major-General Giles Mills *1984-1989: Andrew MacLellan *1989-?:Majorm Christopher Tyler *1994-2006: Major-General Geoffrey Field, CB OBE * 2006-2011: Major-General Keith Cima, CB * 2011-present: Colonel Richard Harrold, OBE 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Resident Governor of the Tower of London and Keeper of the Jewel House」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
